ทั้งนี้ แหล่งข่าววงการเงิน เปิดเผยว่า แรงขายหุ้น APX ที่ออกมาจำนวนมากในการกลับเข้ามาซื้อขายใหม่ของ APX เกิดจากการขายหุ้นออกมาของกลุ่มนายสวัสดิ์ หอรุ่งเรือง ซึ่งเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งและผู้ถือหุ้นรายใหญ่ในบริษัท ซันเทคกรุ๊ป จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ SUNTEC ที่อยู่ในแผนฟื้นฟูกิจการและหยุดซื้อขายกิจการมาตั้งแต่ปี 2542 ก่อนที่จะเปลี่ยนชื่อมาเป็น APX ในปัจจุบัน และเป็นการขายของมาชานลี หรือ นายชาญ บูลกุล ผู้บริหารของบริษัท บรุ๊คเคอร์ กรุ๊ป จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ BROOK ซึ่งเป็นที่ปรึกษาออกมารวมกันประมาณ 500 ล้านหุ้น
