ตลาดภาคเช้าปิดปรับตัวลดลงเล็กน้อย ในทิศทางเดียวกันกับตลาดรอบบ้าน โดยภาพรวมของตลาดเช้าไม่มีกลุ่มใดโดดเด่นยังสลับบวกสลับลบ ซึ่งหุ้นกลุ่มพลังงานถูกกดดันจากราคาน้ำมันดิบที่อ่อนตัวลง ประกอยกับมีความกังวลต่อการพิจารณาการขึ้นดอกเบี้ยของ FED หากตลาดแรงงานสหรัฐฟื้นตัว ปิดตลาดภาคเช้าดัชนีเปลี่ยนแปลง -1.21 จุด มาที่ระดับ 1,435.15 จุด ด้วยมูลค่าการซื้อขายที่ระดับ 1.4 หมื่นล้านบาท
