พล.ต.สรรเสริญ แก้วกำเนิด โฆษกประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เปิดเผยว่า สำนักข่าวบลูมเบิร์กได้รายงานดัชนีความทุกข์ยาก (Misery Index) ประจำปี 2559 พร้อมทั้ง 15 อันดับประเทศที่มีความสุขในเชิงเศรษฐกิจมากที่สุดในโลก (The 15 Happiest Economies in the World) โดยระบุว่าไทยมีอัตราการว่างงานและอัตราเงินเฟ้อต่ำ คิดเป็นค่า Misery Index เท่ากับ 2.2 ซึ่งหมายถึง มีความทุกข์ยากต่ำ หรือมีความสุขมากที่สุดในโลก เป็นปีที่ 2 ต่อเนื่องกัน
The El Wind Mui Dinh wind facility has been fully operational since April 23, 2019 and is entitled to the Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) of US cents 8.5/kWh. The facility supplies electricity through the national grid system under a Power Purchase Agreement with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) for a period of 20 years. Inclusive of El Wind Mui Dinh, total committed renewable energy capacity under Banpu NEXT will reach 814 MW.

ขณะเดียวกัน ที่ประชุมฯ เห็นชอบในหลักการให้การรถไฟแห่งประเทศไทย (รฟท.) ดำเนินโครงการระบบรถไฟชานเมืองสายสีแดงอ่อน ช่วงบางซื่อ-พญาไท-มักกะสัน-หัวหมาก และสายสีแดงเข้ม ช่วงบางซื่อ-หัวลำโพง ภายใต้กรอบวงเงินลงทุน 44,157.76 ล้านบาท และให้ทาง รฟท. บริหารทรัพย์สินโดยเฉพาะการพัฒนาพื้นที่ตามแนวเขตทางรถไฟและย่านสถานีให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด ซึ่งหน่วยงานเจ้าของโครงการจะนำเสนอคณะรัฐมนตรีพิจารณาให้ความเห็นชอบโครงการดังกล่าวต่อไป
