ด้าน นายวิจิตร อารยะพิศิษฐ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิจัยหลักทรัพย์ บล.เมย์แบงก์ กิมเอ็ง (ประเทศไทย) เปิดเผยว่า ตลาดหุ้นไทยเช้านี้ปรับขึ้นทิศทางเดียวกับตลาดหุ้นภูมิภาคเอเชียที่บวกราว 4% และดาวโจนส์ฟิวเจอร์สบวกกว่า 400 จุด ขานรับธนาคารกลางสหรัฐฯ (เฟด) เข้ามาพยุงตลาดตราสารหนี้ด้วยการขยายโครงการ Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility ให้สามารถซื้อหุ้นกู้เอกชนด้วยมูลค่าสูงถึง 7.5 แสนล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ แสดงให้เห็นว่าความพยายามพยุงเศรษฐกิจไว้
