ทั้งนี้ พีทีที ลูบริแคนท์ส ได้เริ่มนำอีโวเทค เทคโนโลยี (EVOTEC Technology) มาใช้พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ในกลุ่มน้ำมันเครื่องสำหรับรถยนต์นั่งเครื่องยนต์เบนซิน (PERFORMA) เป็นผลิตภัณฑ์แรก เนื่องจากเล็งเห็นถึงความนิยมในเครื่องยนต์เบนซินรุ่นใหม่ที่ใช้ระบบฉีดตรงร่วมกับเทอร์โบชาร์จเจอร์ (Turbo GDI) อันเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่กลุ่มผู้ผลิตรถยนต์หลายค่ายทั้งค่ายรถเอเชียและหลายประเทศทั่วโลก จนได้เป็นน้ำมันเครื่อง PERFORMA สูตรใหม่
